All our equipment is delivered in our own modern (unlettered vans - no gregarious signage) by our set-up team. They are responsible for setting up and testing all our equipment before they depart: leaving the DJ to arrive fully focused on their job - looking and smelling fresh and ready to entertain you!

Hello, my name is Alistair, I’ve been Djing for the past 20 years. I started out in hospital radio broadcasting, but a demanding career in the financial sector took me away from that after 4 years. My first love has always been music and after my career settled down I took up Djing again in the nineties. I’ve worked with Chris since 1998. I enjoy Djing - it’s such a buzz! The odd weekend that I’m off I feel lost! My Djing career is very varied - but I’m highly experience in weddings and black tie events. I’m an accredited public speaker with an ability to compere any event!! Nearly all of my work is repeat bookings or recommendations. Subject to availability I look forward to Djing for you.
Hello I'm David, I have been DJing all over East Central Scotland for over 9 years now. I have worked with Chris for 8 of them. I've played at some of the East Coast’s top Hotels and venues. I'm a great all round DJ, playing a great mix to suit all ages and I carry over 7000 songs to every event. During the summer months you may find me live on stage compering and presenting one of the many outdoor Roadshows that I do each year. I also do Children’s parties and I am equally at home with a group of 20 children or a large corporate event with over 300 guests or more and everything in-between! I have also been the resident Christmas DJ at the Royal British Hotel, Princes Street, Edinburgh for the past 4 years. I would be delighted to DJ at your event.

We do at least 100 wedding receptions every year including Civil Partnerships. We are very knowledgeable about wedding etiquette, whether it be formal or informal.

Our DJs are highly experienced and able to play a very mixed selection of music for all ages and tastes. They are presentable - Dressed for the occasion - Articulate, Friendly and Professional. They don’t get over familiar and certainly don’t bring their friends along!
Couples who would like to have input in to the music being played at their reception should feel free to supply us with a song list with their preferences. Based on your song list we can perfectly match one of our highly experienced DJs who will bring along music unique to your wedding reception. Ideally, your song list should include the first dances, some other memorable songs - family favourites perhaps and an indication of what you and your guests would like to hear or not!
Booking us means that you can relax and not worry about your wedding entertainment. Why? Because every booking matters to us, each job usually leads to another and so on. We now supply PA systems and equipment for ceremonies and speech making. We can supply it with a fully qualified sound engineer (T/O) for worry-free operation or a simple to use self-op system - we’ll pre-set microphone and sound levels for you! The choice is yours. Email us for full details.

We do many Graduation Balls and University events every year. We have the equipment to handle the biggest sized function suites around. Whether it be Murrayfield Stadium’s events suites or the Balmoral Hotel’s - Sir Walter Scott suite to mention just two!

All our prices are based on a minimum of a 5 hour hire. We offer various sized systems for different events, but the two most popular are:
System 1 - suitable for up to 120 people. It features a 500 watt* Genuine Bose sound system with a Pioneer mixing desk and CD players. It also features 4 fixed lighting effects with vivid colours and patterns.
Minimum hire period charge up to 5 hours - £225
Each additional hour or part of - £45
*For larger venues you can upgrade the sound system to 1000 watts for an extra £50 per event.
System 2 - suitable for up to 250 people. It features a 1000 watt Genuine Bose sound system with a Pioneer mixing desk and CD players. It also features our ‘Mini Club’ lighting rig with 6 effects: 2 fixed and 4 moving heads. With its vivid colours and patterns it is truly impressive!
Minimum hire period charge up to 5 hours - £300
Each additional hour or part of - £60
The above costs are for us supplying to a venue within a 20 mile radius of Edinburgh City Centre. All other areas POA - as a guidance for every additional mile travelled to the venue we charge an extra £3.40 per mile - this charge includes our return journey. Our price also includes setting up time for our equipment - we normally arrive 1 hour before the start of your booked hire time to do this. If you would like us to set up earlier, then there may be an additional charge for this - our waiting time.
Venues that have a very difficult and restricted access for us incur an extra charge for the additional time and labour involved in the delivery/set-up and collection of our equipment. Any charges being applied are detailed in our quotation.
To book us: we will require a 20% deposit (payable by cheque) and the outstanding balance payable on the day of your hire in cash. If you want to pay us the outstanding balance by cheque, then we will require your cheque at least 10 days before the date of your hire to allow for it to clear through the banking system.
Presently we do not accept debit or credit cards.
